Fisker of Orange County confirms, Fisker Automotive made the Cleantech 100 list of organizations that are expected to make a significant market impact in the next five to 10 years.
The Cleantech list was put together by the Cleantech Group, a research, advisory and networking organization for the cleantech industry, and the UK's Guardian News and Media based on data and research and the opinions of a 60-person panel of investors and tech experts. It is considered a bellwether for the trends worldwide as cleantech evolves.
“Fisker sets the standard for electric luxury vehicles. It’s trying to change the future of the automotive industry, and being honored in the list of top 100 company’s is a huge honor for the brand,” said Fisker of Orange County General Manager, Steve Rudkin.
To be on the list, a company must be independent, for-profit, Cleantech and not listed on any major stock exchange. The companies were judged on innovation, the potential market and ability to execute.
