Adaptive Cruise Control

Class-exclusive available adaptive cruise control and collision warning with brake support are two more smart new radar-based technologies. Adaptive cruise control can adjust your cruising speed to maintain a preset “headway” distance to the vehicle in front of you. Collision warning with brake support is designed to alert you if its sensors detect a potential collision with the car in front of you. If you don’t react in time, it pre-charges the brakes and increases brake-assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you brake.

BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert

The available BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with cross-traffic alert can use its radar sensors to detect vehicles in the surrounding lanes while you're driving. If BLIS detects a vehicle in your blind-spot zones, a warning light appears in the appropriate sideview mirror. Cross-traffic alert uses radar to watch for vehicles approaching from either side while you're slowly backing up. It detects  vehicles up to about five parking spaces away, and sends an audible warning, a message centre alert, and a visual display in the corresponding mirror.

AdvanceTrac® with RSC® (Roll Stability Control™)

AdvanceTrac® with RSC® (Roll Stability Control™) works automatically to help keep all 4 wheels firmly planted. It's the only brake-based electronic stability control system to utilize a roll-rate sensor, monitoring the vehicle's roll motion at least 100 times per second.
